mobster asc screenshots makes your App Store screenshots from the checks you already have. Each check opens a screen the way your users reach it, by deep link or by its steps. Mobster runs it on a simulator of each App Store display size, in each language your app ships, with the status bar at 9:41, full battery and full bars. Then it saves that screen as a full-resolution PNG. Nothing is uploaded. The folder is yours to review, then fastlane deliver or App Store Connect takes it.

Make them

Tag the checks that end on a screen you want in the store with screenshot, then from your project’s folder:
That run took 1 min 55 s on an M5 Max under heavy load (14 Oct 2026), most of it creating and booting the iPhone 17 Pro Max simulator the first time.

How each one is made

  • The language. The app launches with -AppleLanguages (de-DE) -AppleLocale de_DE. iOS stays in its own language. Your app shows the one you asked for.
  • The size. Each size runs on the newest simulator of it this Mac has: iPhone 17 Pro Max or 16 Pro Max for 6.9”, iPad Pro 13-inch for 13”. Each PNG’s pixel size is checked against App Store Connect’s sizes: 1320 × 2868 for 6.9”, 2064 × 2752 for 13”.
  • The status bar. xcrun simctl status_bar … override sets 9:41, Wi-Fi, full bars and a charged battery for the run, and clears it after.
  • The verdict. The check’s expectations are still checked. A shot whose run couldn’t run is left out. screenshots.json lists every shot with its verdict, so a German screen that fails an English expectation shows up there.
Checks that open their screen by deep link (launch.url) need no model and suit every language. A check with steps replays its recorded steps, which find controls by their labels. In another language those labels differ, so Smart heals the step on your key.
