MobsterBench-iOS
This project’s pre-registered suite: 68 tasks on stock Apple apps and a few stable web pages, on one iPhone 15 Pro over USB, graded by oracles (mobile_agent/bench/). An oracle grades each task from its own WDA reads of the device or from ground truth fixed before the run. No result for Mobster’s agent on it has been published yet. An accessibility read takes about 130–210 ms on that iPhone (22 Sep 2026).
iOSWorld
iOSWorld is a published benchmark: 133 tasks over 26 SwiftUI apps on an iPhone simulator, scored by its own LLM judge.python -m mobile_agent.bench.iosworld runs it with iOSWorld’s own reset and judge.
On 18 Oct 2026, Mobster’s agent ran all 133 tasks once, cold, on one iPhone 17 Pro simulator (iOS 26.4), with Claude Sonnet 5.5 and iOSWorld’s 50-step limit:
- The judge differs. iOSWorld’s own judge script ran unchanged, but its model call went to gpt-5.6-terra through the Codex CLI, because the official gpt-5.4-mini wasn’t available to this run. The scores use different judges, so their gaps do not isolate differences in agent performance. The two independent judgings agree on 89.5% of tasks.
- Droidrun used a different setup. Its methodology describes app cards and memory refined from execution traces, 30 minutes per session, and corrected fixtures for three tasks. Its published 92.48% binary pass rate uses GPT-6.1 Sol to rejudge the 14 tasks GPT-5.4 mini scored below a full pass; GPT-5.4 mini alone gives 89.47%. Mobster ran cold and doesn’t use iOSWorld data in its prompts or memory.
- The detailed notes have the earlier runs and the paired A/B protocol.
Everyday tasks on a real iPhone
14 read-only tasks people ask a phone agent for (Settings, Clock, Safari, Instagram DMs, Calendar and Maps, Reminders, Messages and Gmail), on one iPhone 15 Pro (iOS 26.0.1), 14 Oct 2026, one run per task, graded blind:
One run per task, so one task moves a rate by 7 points. Mobster and the MCP arms ran over USB with the iPhone unlocked; phone-harness ran over iPhone Mirroring with it locked, as phone-harness requires. Every agent failed the TikTok feed task and the 20-Reels task.
Checks against Maestro
The same check (open Settings, open a paywall, expect “Choose your plan” and three plans) in a test app on one simulator (iPhone 17 Pro, iOS 26.4), 17 Oct 2026:
Mobster’s first run of a check calls Smart once to record the path; Maestro’s flow names each tap by id instead. Maestro can’t run a flow on a physical iPhone.
Reliability scorecard
The scorecard lists Mobster’s own numbers for each pack action and each starter workflow on one real iPhone: how many tries passed, and the p50 and p95 time and cost of the passes. It is re-run every week, keeps every run, and compares nothing with another product. The method:
Every item only reads. None sends, posts, likes, follows, buys or deletes, and the run measures what Mobster does, not what a person would approve.
